The short version
ToolHamper's tools run in your browser. The files, images, and text you use with the tools are processed on your device and are not uploaded to, stored on, or logged by our servers. Generated passwords are created on your device and are never transmitted or stored anywhere.
What a normal website visit involves
Like every website, visiting ToolHamper involves some standard technical processing:
- Hosting: our hosting provider's servers deliver the pages you request. Web servers typically keep short-term access logs (IP address, page requested, browser type) for security and operations.
- Third-party resources: pages load fonts from Google Fonts and, on the QR Code Generator page, a QR library from the jsDelivr content delivery network. Those providers receive your IP address as part of delivering those files, under their own privacy policies.
- Contact email: if you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message, and use them only to reply.
Analytics (currently not active)
ToolHamper is prepared for optional Google Analytics 4 measurement, but it is not active unless a measurement ID is configured. If it is activated in the future, this policy will be updated first, IP anonymization is enabled in our configuration, and the analytics would be used only to understand which tools are popular so we can improve them.
Advertising (currently not active)
ToolHamper is designed to be supported by Adsterra advertising, but no advertising scripts are active until the site owner configures them. When advertising is activated, this policy will be updated first to describe the advertising partner, any cookies or similar technologies involved, and your choices. Advertisements will never be disguised as tool controls.
Cookies
ToolHamper itself does not set cookies. If analytics or advertising are activated in the future, those third parties may set cookies as described in the updated version of this policy and, where required, a consent mechanism will be provided.
Your choices
Because the tools process everything locally, there is no account to delete and no uploaded content to request removal of. For questions about this policy, contact us via the Contact page.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
